Victoria Wallen:
Trainee Humanistic Integrative Counsellor (BACP student member)
My name is Victoria Wallen, I am a trainee Humanistic Integrative Counsellor working online with the low-cost therapy and counselling service at HQ Therapy Rooms.
I am currently working towards an Advanced Diploma in Humanistic Integrative Counselling, at CPPD Counselling School. As a student member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy, I work within the BACP Ethical Framework and use it to guide my practice and provide us with a secure base for working together.
As a humanistic integrative counsellor, I use elements of different therapeutic approaches to work with you in a way that suits you and your individual needs and circumstances
My practice is warm, caring, and non-judgmental. I create a safe and calm space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences to gain a better understanding of yourself and increase your self-awareness.
I want to make it as easy as possible for you to feel that you can share and be yourself in our sessions.
Whatever difficulties you might be facing, my intention is to build a therapeutic relationship with you that supports your growth, well-being, and healing.
I have experience working with people from a wide range of different backgrounds and issues, including but not limited to, loss, depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, low self-esteem, trauma, and addiction.
I care deeply about the way a person’s culture affects their identity and in turn, their experience of the world whether that be gender, race, class, sexuality, religion, or disability for example. An awareness and sensitivity to the role that might play in an individual’s therapy journey is central to my practice as a trainee therapist.
Making the choice to begin therapy can be daunting but I am here to help guide you through the process when you are ready.
