Vicente Partida:
Integrative Counsellor (MBACP)
My name is Vicente Partida, and I am an integrative counsellor and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
My practice is rooted in an integrative approach, blending various therapeutic techniques to meet each individual’s unique needs.
I draw from both psychodynamic and humanistic frameworks, with a strong focus on creating a safe, non-judgmental space for you to delve into your inner experiences.
My Approach to Counselling:
Many people carry deep-seated emotions such as shame or fear or find themselves stuck in unhelpful patterns of relationships and behaviours.
By exploring the unconscious mind—those aspects of ourselves that are not immediately visible—and reflecting on both past and present relationships, we can uncover insights that help to better navigate your current life challenges.
I have had the privilege of working with a diverse clientele, addressing a broad spectrum of issues such as (but not limited to) work-related stress, anxiety and depression, childhood trauma, gender and sexual identity, and cultural and racial identity.
I have extensive experience working with LGBTQIA+ clients and people from multicultural backgrounds.
Whether you have a specific concern you wish to address or are uncertain about what is causing your distress, the Counselling process offers a space to explore and gain clarity.
My Background and Experience:
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). My academic background includes a BA in Sociology and a Foundation Certificate in Psychotherapy and Counselling. I am in the final year of my MA in Integrative Psychotherapy at Regent’s University London.
My counselling approach is deeply informed by my multicultural heritage and extensive international experience working with individuals from various backgrounds.
Being bilingual in English and Spanish allows me to engage with a diverse range of clients. Prior to my journey into counselling, I worked in marketing and communications for various charities and educational institutions, experiences that have greatly enhanced my understanding of human relationships and organisational behaviour.
Fees:
The cost for a 50-minute session varies on a sliding scale, beginning at £80, depending on your annual income. I also offer a limited number of reduced-fee spots for clients with lower incomes.
