Rachel Joseph:
Trainee Integrative Therapist (BACP student member)
Hi! My name is Rachel Joseph and I am a trainee integrative therapist, registered with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), providing low-cost online therapy.
I am currently completing my final year of a Post-Graduate Diploma in Psychotherapy and Counselling at the University of East London.
I draw on a range of theories in my work, including person-centred and psychodynamic, tailoring my approach to the needs of each individual.
Why do therapy?
We can all reach points in our lives where we feel stuck, overwhelmed by difficult feelings and unable to move forward.
Exploring our feelings and experiences in a safe, non-judgemental space can enable us to gain valuable insights, understand and validate our feelings, gain greater self-awareness and self-compassion and ultimately heal.
My approach:
Taking the step to do therapy can be overwhelming and I have ample experience of working with individuals who are new to therapy. I am part of the counselling team at a London-based college where I work with young adults. Many of my clients have never experienced counselling before working with me.
I believe strongly in finding meaning in the difficulties we face. I have a calm and warm approach and provide a space where you’ll feel safe, heard and contained.
Whatever your reasons for seeking therapy, we can work together to explore the issues you choose to bring to sessions and move towards a place of understanding, healing and change.
I work with clients who are experiencing a range of issues including:
I’m available to see clients online for both short-term and long-term work.
I look forward to meeting you and beginning our work together.
