Ozge Bayar:
Trainee Integrative Therapist (BACP student member)
Hi, my name is Ozge Bayar, and I am a trainee integrative therapist working in low-cost therapy and counselling at HQ Therapy Rooms. I am working towards my Diploma in Integrative Humanistic Counselling at CPPD Counselling School.
I am an insured student member of the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP), working within the BACP ethical framework. I have also completed Online and Phone Therapy and Eating Disorders training in line with my ongoing training.
For all of us, therapy is a process, and I believe every person’s therapy and journey differ. Having gone through the therapy process myself, I know and can relate to how hard it can be at the beginning, especially the first step.
However, I should also add that I have seen and experienced how effective the therapy can be in one’s life.
While working, the space belongs to you, and I prioritise to utilise and always provide the right conditions: a safe, supportive, empathetic, confidential, and non-judgmental space for you to feel comfortable talking, exploring, and expressing your thoughts and feelings to gain insights and understand what is causing you difficulties, distress and the impact this may be having on your own sense of wellbeing and with your relationships, with this understanding you can make your own choices to create a more fulfilling life.
To utilise this, I always pay special attention to building and having a strong working therapeutic relationship with you, always providing respect, empathy, authenticity and honesty so you can safely share and explore your difficulties and distress. We will always work within the right pace that is right for you.
In my sessions, I feel more equipped by being able to draw different approaches/theories to understand and support you with the issues you may be feeling, whether these issues are from your past or now, to help and support you in your journey, growth or to make more meaningful choices in life.
I have experience working with diverse people from different backgrounds, presenting a wide range of issues, but for me, everybody’s presenting problem is always unique and individual.
I am currently available to work with clients online, and I am happy to do short-term or long-term work.
