Natasha Mackey:
Trainee Counsellor & Psychotherapist (BACP student member)
Hello, I’m Natasha Mackey, a trainee therapist working in the low-cost therapy and counselling service at HQ Therapy Rooms in Haggerston and Dalston, Hackney, London E8.
I’m a student member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) currently working towards an Advanced Postgraduate Diploma in Integrative Counselling at CPPD Counselling School. I have completed training and work within the BACP ethical framework. I hold a fit-to-practice certificate for both in-person and online therapy work.
Talking therapy offers a safe, supportive and non-judgemental space for you to explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences, with a view to creating long-lasting positive change.
Starting your therapy journey can feel overwhelming, as I remember from my own experience, but it is also incredibly empowering.
This is time you’re setting aside each week just for you. It is time away from the pressures of daily life to pause, take a breath and explore what’s on your mind.
We will work together confidentially to build an authentic, mutually respectful relationship where you feel comfortable working through vulnerabilities at your own pace. There’s no rush!
Therapy is a collaborative endeavour and my main priority is that you feel supported and heard. Together we can work to find greater clarity and empower you to create a more positive future.
My approach is integrative which means I draw on a range of approaches and modalities to tailor our work to your needs as a unique individual.
I work with a wide range of concerns that impact relationships. These include but are not exclusive to difficult feelings around and experiences with loneliness, anxiety, depression and trauma.
I’m available to see clients for both short and long-term work, online or in person. I look forward to meeting you and beginning our work together.
