Natascha Armleder:
Trainee Existential psychotherapist (UCPA student member)
My name is Natascha Armleder. I’m a trainee existential psychotherapist working in the low-cost therapy and counselling service at HQ Therapy Rooms in Haggerston and Dalston, Hackney, London E8.
I have a bachelors in psychology from the US and I am in the process of completing my master’s in Existential psychotherapy. I work via Zoom With adults.
I consider myself approachable, friendly, kind and caring. I am here to listen and help. To discover how you got to the here and now.
Existential Therapy:
I am attracted to existential psychotherapy because it focuses not on deficits or faults but on our relationship with the world as we are. I believe therapy is for all people at all times in their lives.
The Existential approach is one in which there is no right and wrong, only the feelings you have about your relationship with yourself and others.
It is for exploring the universal themes which we all struggle with and the issues that arrive from having trouble at certain points in our life or with certain situations.
These can all be used as stepping stones for better self-care and understanding.
I am here to help you cope with everyday problems or larger life issues.
To help you feel that you are dealing with life in the way that feels most comfortable to you right now.
About me:
I am a Swiss American who speaks French and English. I have a bachelor’s degree from the United States in psychology and am in the process of completing my Masters in Existential psychotherapy after a hiatus during which I worked in multinational companies.
I am finally at a point where I can pursue my passion for helping others and am enjoying the master’s program and the explorations it entails.
I understand what it is to not know how to approach a subject or to be at a loss as to what to say or how to say it.
I feel it is an honour to help individuals on this quest for self-understanding and expression.
I am here to try to help you make your life more liveable and less tension-filled.
Hopefully even a little bit happier.
