Kate Hammer:
Existential Analyst (MBACP, GMBPsS, PCC)
My name is Kate Hammer, I am a psychotherapist qualified in Existential Analysis & Logotherapy, seeing clients in-person at HQ Therapy Rooms in Haggerston, Hackney, London E8, and online.
I work with people seeking:
– Ease and an inner ground in the face of anxiety
– New ways of living in the wake of burnout
– Space and time to grieve
– Help to move forward after loss or failure
– Self-esteem and self-respect where self-worth is fragile
– Connection and belonging when situations isolate you
– Meaning when work or community feels barren
– Help getting unstuck
Dialogue, exploring feelings, metaphor, problem-solving, re-framing, somatic inquiry, and stillness all play important roles in my therapeutic work.
More info is on my website and my LinkedIn profile.
How I work:
– I ask questions in therapy, and I also hold the space for you to speak without being side-tracked by interruptions or inhibited by another’s judgements.
– When we work together, we’ll first establish trust and create ease so that you feel able to bring your full self to our encounters.
– Over time, clients may find our way of inquiring together becomes a model for their own inner dialogue.
– In-person and online therapy sessions are weekly, and last for 50 mins.
– We begin with an initial 15-min phone call to see how it is to be in one another’s company and to start exploring how it might be to work together in service of your life.
My rates:
– £80 for a weekly 50-min session in person.
– £80 for a weekly 50-min session online.
– I’m not able to offer concessions at this time.
