Henry Clay:
Person-Centred Counsellor (BACP)
Hello, my name is Henry Clay and I am a Person-Centred Counsellor.
I am a qualified member of the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) and hold a level 4 diploma in Therapeutic Counselling, Person-Centred Approach.
I work with clients online and in person at HQ Therapy in Haggerston & Dalston.
There can be times when we feel that something is troubling us or causing distress, there may be something that feels like an obstacle, or you can feel like there is something you find difficult to understand.
If these are the types of questions that are coming up for you, counselling might be able to help and support you.
The counselling relationship can offer a confidential, non-judgemental space to explore challenging issues and difficult feelings that you are encountering.
We would work collaboratively to look at these areas at a pace that is right for you and look to find a clearer understanding and perhaps new perspectives that can facilitate positive changes in your life.
I work with adults and have training and experience in several areas including anxiety, bereavement, depression, family issues, grief, loneliness, loss, low self-confidence, low self-esteem, pandemic-related issues, panic, relationship issues, self-esteem, sexuality, stress, trauma and work-related stress.
I work on an open-ended basis which means sessions are not limited to a certain number, however, we would check in regularly to make sure we are focused on what you would like to bring to therapy. This may change during the time we are working together, and we can adjust and adapt as we progress further.
Sessions are 50 minutes long; my rate is £75 for a single session, or I charge £70 per session when booked for the month in advance. I also have a limited number of reduced-rate slots available through HQ.
If you would like to have an initial consultation to talk about what you are looking for from therapy, you can ask any questions you might have about coming to counselling sessions with me and I can explain a little more about how I work we can schedule a phone call. This will last between 20-30 minutes and there is no charge for the consultation call.
