Emmanuelle Cadji-Newby:
Counsellor & Psychotherapist (BACP)
I believe that we should all be able to achieve our potential and live positive, fulfilling lives.
Unfortunately, sometimes our mind stops us from doing that. We can’t think straight, we feel unable to make the right choices.
That’s when our work together can help.
My name is Emmanuelle Cadji-Newby and I am an experienced counsellor and psychotherapist at HQ Therapy Rooms in Haggerston, London E8. I work with adults and adolescents, across a wide range of issues.
My approach focuses primarily on enabling you to understand not only what brought you where you are today, but also where you want to be. With this understanding, we develop solutions for you to get there.
Each client is unique, and I use a blend of approaches to meet your specific needs. I am an integrative counsellor and have also trained in CBT techniques.
I work with people dealing with anxiety and depression, facing challenges with their relationships, or looking to improve their ability to tackle personal or work-related challenges.
I have experience working with people in the creative industry and high-pressured work environments, having managed and owned communication agencies in my past life.
I also have specialist experience in working with young adults, having worked in a Sixth Form College for more than ten years.
I am specially trained in dealing with PTSD and childhood trauma.
My training and past experience:
I am a qualified practitioner and BACP member. I hold a Post-Graduate Diploma in Counselling and Coaching from the University of East London.
I have also furthered my knowledge by completing the following training:
- CBT practitioner, approved by the British Psychological Society
- CBT and Counselling with Autism Spectrum Disorder Clients with Professor Tony Attwood
- Practitioner skills for Eating Disorders from the National Centre for Eating Disorders
- Transformation of Trauma with Bessel van der Kolk
- Rewind Trauma Therapy which enables clients to deal with traumatic events with David Muss
In my younger life, I gained an MBA from CASS Business School in London and I lived in Paris and New York.
Availability and Fees:
I am available for face-face sessions in Haggerston or otherwise, I also work online.
If you would like, we can arrange an initial appointment where you can ask me any questions you have and we can then decide if we want to work together.
There is no charge for this conversion. I then charge £85 per session.
