Lorraine Butler:
Integrative Therapist (MBACP)
My name is Lorraine Butler, and I am a registered BACP Integrative Therapist based at HQ Therapy Rooms in Highbury Fields, London, N5, close to Highbury & Islington tube station.
Therapy sessions can be a space to reflect on how your past experiences may be impacting your current relationships and sense of self and a space to work on how to change something for the future.
Not feeling ‘quite ourselves’ in life often presents in anxiety, low mood, depression, keeping trauma with us and feeling as though we are coping rather than living fully.
Change is always present in our lives, and I aim to work with you on the direction of this change.
My aim is to provide a safe, confidential space to explore emotions, gain insights, and develop new ways of thinking, responding and feeling that can lead to personal growth and a more fulfilling life.
Whether you’re dealing with a specific issue or looking to improve overall well-being, therapy can offer valuable tools for change and healing.
Being able to reconnect with and trust your authentic self is a process that is different for everyone and I approach all clients with warmth, empathy and trust in your experience.
I work with a range of evidence-based therapeutic models, including the psychodynamic approach, person-centred theory and cognitive behavioural techniques.
Understanding past experiences, attachment style and how we relate to others can enable us to uncover the root causes of your challenges, build coping strategies, and empower you to live a more fulfilling and contented life.
Getting Started:
I offer a free 25-minute telephone or Zoom consultation with potential clients to understand where you would like to focus and if how I work will be the right approach for you.
If you would like to book a session, then we’ll agree on a weekly time and place to meet, either online or at HQ Therapy. Sessions are 50 minutes and cost £65.
I offer a limited number of concessionary sessions, there is currently a waiting list for these spaces.
I currently work in-person and online on Wednesday afternoons and evenings at HQ Therapy in Highbury Fields and online on Tuesday evenings and Wednesday and Thursday mornings.
