Suzi Green:
Trainee Integrative Psychotherapist & Counsellor (UKCP, BACP student member)
My name is Suzi Green and I am an integrative psychotherapist. Taking the step towards therapy is a significant decision, and I’m glad you’re exploring options for your well-being.
My approach is one of awareness and sensitivity and I am committed to understanding your needs, whilst respecting your personal journey.
Our sessions offer a collaborative space where you can freely explore your thoughts and feelings in a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental environment. My aim is to empower you to reclaim agency over your life, believing that the answers you seek reside within you, even if they may feel elusive at times.
My path to becoming a therapist has been shaped by both personal and professional experiences. With 20 years in the music industry’s live sector, I intimately understand the challenges of high-pressure work environments, having witnessed issues including bullying, discrimination, gaslighting, and burnout.
Additionally, my personal experiences with PTSD, a chronic health condition, and caring for a parent with Alzheimer’s have deepened my understanding of life’s complexities.
My approach to therapy is holistic, drawing on qualifications in naturopathic nutrition and yoga and, within the context of therapy, I believe in the importance of embodied relating, recognizing how we store emotions in our bodies and how this awareness can give voice to experiences that can sometimes be difficult to articulate.
Whether you’re grappling with stress, anxiety, relationship issues, or feelings of hopelessness, I’m here to provide support. My experience spans a diverse range of clients from various backgrounds, genders, religions, and sexual orientations.
Our work together offers the opportunity to develop tools and resources that extend beyond our sessions, enhancing your resilience and self-compassion when navigating life’s challenges.
Registered with the UKCP and BACP, I’m also committed to broader mental health advocacy. I serve as a Trustee for Music Support, a charity assisting with mental health and addiction issues, and run a non-profit organisation offering mental health and peer support services.
I’m here to walk alongside you at your own pace, as you navigate this journey of self-discovery.
