Adrianna Pearce:
Psychotherapeutic Counsellor (BACP), Advanced Trainee Psychotherapist (UKCP)
My name is Adrianna Pearce. I am a psychotherapeutic counsellor and advanced trainee psychotherapist working at HQ Therapy Rooms in Haggerston, Hackney, London E8.
I offer in-person sessions in Haggerston and I work online; my session fee is £60.
Clinical Experience:
Some (but not all) of the areas I have experience working with include Childhood/developmental trauma, depression, anxiety, sexual trauma, relationship issues, grief and loss, body dysmorphia and disordered eating, self-esteem, neurodivergence, chronic pain, and chronic disease.
My Approach:
My first aim when we meet is to help you feel supported and safe. I believe a big part of why therapy helps is through the relationship we build together, and that the building blocks of that relationship are warmth, compassion, and collaboration.
In our first few sessions, I will work with you to clarify how we will work together to address your reasons for seeking therapy. Everyone is unique, and what suits one person in therapy might not work for you.
I work in an integrative way, drawing on different therapy approaches to ensure we’re working in a way that is the most supportive of your goals. I take a holistic view of the mind/body, which is aided by my experience as a yoga and Pilates teacher and by my interest in the intersection between psychotherapy and neuroscience.
My Qualifications and Availability:
- I am a qualified psychotherapeutic counsellor.
- I am training for a master’s in humanistic psychotherapy at the Metanoia Institute.
- I am registered with an accrediting body, the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). This means that as a practitioner I adhere to a code of ethics and that I am accountable to both my university and to the BACP.
- In addition to my psychotherapy qualifications, I hold a bachelor of psychology and a master’s in industrial relations.
Availability and Fees:
My session rate is £60. However, I do offer several places in my practice on a reduced-rate fee. Currently, these are all full. I currently have availability online on Wednesdays at 4 pm and 5 pm.
I offer an initial session at a reduced rate (£25) for you to experience how I work and to decide whether we might work well together.
